They will hire you if you’re good….you have to practice and prepare
Many speakers get enraptured with their topic but doesn’t mean people will pay you for it. Find what people WILL pay for and spin your topic that way.
Speakers often tell you about them…when you talk to a group try using “you” - to incorporate your entire audience.
In PowerPoint when doing slide show select “always do subtitles” and your presentation will automatically grab captions as you speak.
There might be nay sayers that say you can’t make it. Don’t play it safe…don’t look at closed doors…the door just hasn’t open yet. Keep going!
Make sure you have a video plan with your videographer BEFORE you walk in.
Be creative in your presentation and negotiation - never take no for an answer. What’s it worth to you? If they say nothing start again!
Do something on stage that the audience doesn’t expect!!
